This structured psychotherapy group is designed for individuals experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) who want support, education, and practical skills for managing symptoms.
Many individuals with OCD describe feeling isolated or misunderstood in their experience. This group offers a space to connect with others who understand OCD while learning evidence-based strategies for reducing compulsions, increasing tolerance of uncertainty, and responding more effectively to intrusive thoughts.
This group integrates:
  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Self-compassion and values-based work

What we focus on:

  • Understanding how OCD maintains itself
  • Reducing reassurance-seeking and mental compulsions
  • Building skills to respond differently to intrusive thoughts
  • Practicing willingness to experience uncertainty and distress
  • Supporting recovery through structured exercises and group discussion

Format:

  • 75 minute weekly group sessions
  • 6 participants
  • Closed 6-week cycle (new cohorts begin periodically)
  • $90/session
This is a structured skills-based group rather than an open-ended support group. Participants are expected to actively engage in exercises and between-session practice.

Who this group is for:

This group is appropriate for individuals with OCD or OCD-spectrum concerns who are currently in treatment or seeking additional support alongside individual therapy.
